Convert Slides to Digital

Converting your 35mm slides to digital can be a simple straight forward process. All you need to do is make a few easy decisions and let the experts do all the work.

  • Resolution -
The higher you go, the higher the quality digital image you will be, this the same concept as megapixels on a digital camera. For slides, we offer 2000, 3000 or 4000 DPI.
    2000 DPI = 4.6 Megapixels
    3000 DPI = 9 Megapixels
    4000 DPI = 18 Megapixels

  • Color Correction -
The dyes in your slide film have degraded over time, which can leave your slides faded and discolored. Once your slides are converted, all the digital images will be color corrected. This digital correction will adjust the fading, discoloration and contrast of the digital images. We offer two service levels, Standard & Premium.

Standard: Provides a general color correction to all images - Included Free.
Premium: Provides an individualized correction to each image, giving you the best possible digital images.

  • Jpeg vs. Tiff -
Both file formats are universally recognized, and we suggest Jpeg files for the majority of our slide conversion customers. We recommend Tiff files for customers who will be doing extensive editing to their slide images or using their digital images in professional reproductions, such as magazines and books.

  • Discs vs. the Cloud -
Technology is moving away from discs and more towards cloud storage. Whatever your preference may be, you can have your slides saved to a disc, to a cloud provider or download the files directly from us. Whatever your needs are, we can meet them.

That's it! Once you break down the quick decisions to make, getting your slides converted to digital is a simple process. Send your slides to Larsen Digital and we will convert them to digital images and you can enjoy giving new life to old memories. Learn more about Converting Slides to Digital
