Things to Know

Don't Cut your 3D Slides!

We have equipment that can scan the odd shaped stereo 3D slides, so please do not try and cut out the individual frames.

Double Images

Stereo 3D Slides have two pieces of film mounted onto 1 single slide mount. This was so people could view their images in a 3D slide viewer. When we scan a stereo 3D slide we only scan 1 of the images because the the camera takes the picture simulatnously creating almost identical images.

If you would like both sides of your 3D slides scanned, just let us know. Each side we scan will be billed as a frame.

Scanning Resolution

Scanning Resolution is one of the most important factors in determining the quality of your digital image. Scanning Resolution is similar to the concept of megapixels on a digital camera.

CD vs DVD

Having your Stereo Slides scanned to a disc? You will need to decide if you want a CD or a DVD. A data CD is just like a data DVD, the quality is the exact same. The only difference is that a data DVD holds more data than a CD. So if your order form indicated that you need more than 1 CD, it would be less expensive for you if you chose to have your digital images saved to a data DVD instead.

If you want your Stereo Slides scanned and saved onto a VIDEO DVD, you will want to order a DVD Video Slideshow.

The Cloud - Online Access

Now customers don't need to wait for their discs in the mail to receive their scanned Stereo Slide images. We will upload your images to Google Drive where you can download them to your home computer.

Add a DVD Video Slideshow to your Stereo Slide scanning project. Once we have scanned & digitized your Stereo Slides, we can create a DVD video Slideshow.
