Delete Un-wanted Scans

Using our online viewing tool, you can delete un-wanted Negative images by moving it to the trash. You can delete up to 10% of your order & not pay!

Things to Know

Negative strips must be at least 2 frames in length.

There is a 50¢ handling fee for single frame negatives.

A negative frame is each individual "picture," a strip, is when there are multiple frames together. We bill per frame, not per strip.

For every strip of 35mm negative film you send us, you must have all frames scanned. We will not skip frames.

Digital Ice Infrared Clean does not work on Black and White Film. We can still scan Black and White negative film, but dust, scratches and fingerprints may show up in the scan.

If your negatives have an adhesive plastic covering that is attached to your negative strip, we do prefer that you take the coverings off prior to shipment. If we do receive the negative strips with the adhesive coverings, we can take them off, but we do not assume any liability.

Negative film that has been tightly rolled, or has a very strong curve may see a brown effect to the edges of their film. This is due to the strong curve which doesn't allow the scanners to focus on the film.

Scanning Resolution

Scanning Resolution is one of the most important factors in determining the quality of your digital image. Scanning Resolution is similar to the concept of megapixels on a digital camera.

The higher your scanning resolution, the higher your quality. See a sample of different scanning resolutions.

Professional Equipment

We use the Nikon 5000 film scanner for our Negatives, which provides significantly higher quality than flat bed scanners.

CD vs DVD

Having your Negatives scanned to a disc? You will need to decide if you want a CD or a DVD. A data CD is just like a data DVD, the quality is the exact same. The only difference is that a data DVD holds more data than a CD. So if your order form indicated that you need more than 1 CD, it would be less expensive for you if you chose to have your digital images saved to a data DVD instead.

If you want your Negatives scanned and saved onto a VIDEO DVD, you will want to order a DVD Video Slideshow.

The Cloud - Online Access

We will upload your digital images to your own Google Drive account where you can view, share & download the digital images. Google Drive Downloads

Free Sample Scanning

If you are unsure whether we are the right company for you, or whether you just need to test the waters before sending out all your film, we understand. That is why we are offing free sample scans, where you can send in a strip of negatives and we will convert it to a jpg image scanned at 4000 dpi. We will email you a link where you can download your digital images and we will send your slides back to you. It is a simple as that!

Add a DVD Video Slideshow to your Negative scanning project. Once we have scanned & digitized your Negatives, we can create a DVD video Slideshow.
