35mm Negative Scanning Services

Digital Conversion of 35mm negatives to CD or DVD. Optical scanning resolutions at
2000, 3000, and 4000 dpi using Nikon Coolscan 5000 scanners.
File format options include either JPEG ( jpg ) or TIFF ( tif ).
We offer three levels of service for our film scanning: Bronze II, Silver and Gold.
We understand the value of your film and we also know this should be a once in a lifetime expenditure. We promise to take care of your film as if it
were our own treasured memories. And we will do everything in our power to ensure that the quality is unsurpassed so that we
will never have an unsatisfied customer.
We have developed a reduced cost solution for scanning 35mm negatives. Using this process, we take negative strips of any length and carefully cut them into individual frames. Each frame of film is then carefully mounted into a slide mount so that it can be scanned using the Nikon
5000 batch scanner, thereby reducing the cost to you.
Some additional facts about this process: You will be able to more easily label your film by labeling the mount with a cross reference to your digital image file names for future use.
You can take advantage of our ultra high resolution 4000 dpi scans for your negatives.
The film is better protected and preserved and film curl is reduced, resulting in a flatter film plane and better scan results.
The images are automatically reversed to give a brilliant positive image.
Your negative film can still be processed into prints at your local photo lab.
If you want to save money, you can do the mounting yourself and then simply order from the slide scanning order form.
Restrictions:
1. For every strip of film you send us, you must have all frames mounted and scanned. We cannot skip frames. In other words -- only send us the frames that you want mounted and scanned.
2. We will not work with negatives that have anything attached to them, even along the sprocket holes. You must remove any plastic, adhesive strips, etc., before shipping your negatives to us.
3. Digital ICE will NOT work with black and white film

Print and Video Ready 1
Note 1 : Print and Video Ready assurance can only be achieved if slides/negatives are in relatively good condition. Both our Silver and Gold services apply color and fade restoration when required, but in some extreme cases where the dyes in the film have faded too far, even the best digital enhancement will fail to fully recover the original scene.
Mold and Mildew can also present problems.
