Mini DVD discs are recorded on using a video camera. Storing the files on a disc does prevent degredation that you typically see with videos stored on a magnetic tape. However, getting those video files off the Mini DVD can be tricky. It requires certain software that can convert the data on the Mini DVD into an MP4 video file. Before a Mini DVD can have the video files converted, the disc must be finalized. If we receive Mini DVD that have not been finalized we are unable to convert the data on the disc. To finalize a Mini DVD you will need the video camera that the disc was filmed on. There will be a setting on your camera to finalize the Mini DVD, this process should only take a few mintues.
