Note
1 : Print and Video Ready assurance can only be achieved if
slides/negatives are in relatively good condition. In some extreme
cases where the dyes in the film have faded too far, even the best
digital enhancement will fail to fully recover the original
scene. Mold and Mildew can also present problems.

Note 1 : Video Ready assurance can only be achieved if the original
photos do not require major restoration. Our Silver service applies
color and fade restoration when required, but in some extreme cases
where the photo has faded too far, even the best digital enhancement
will fail to fully recover the original scene.

When searching for a reputable company to transfer and preserve your irreplaceable memories make sure that they won't be sending your film to another country to take advantage of cheap labor rates.
Several relatively new film scanning companies have popped up overnight which are sending the film to India, Costa Rica, and other countries to have the work done. This practice explains the "too good to be true" pricing. It's bad enough that they are doing this with their customer's priceless memories, but the fact that they are not even up front with their customers about this practice is disgusting in our opinion.
