126 Film is not all the same
There are two types of 126 format film, the type in a mount, called a "126 Slide" and the type without a mount called "126 Negative." The negatives are typically in strips. The pricing is different because it is more labor intensive to scan the 126 negatives.

For every strip of 126 negative film you send us, you must have all frames scanned. We will not skip frames.
Our pricing is based on the number of frames you send in, not on strips.

Our Scanning Service Includes:
Scanning Resolution
Scanning Resolution is one of the most important factors in determining the quality of your digital image. Scanning Resolution is similar to the concept of megapixels on a digital camera. The higher your scanning resolution, the higher your quality. See a sample of different scanning resolutions.
Professional Equipment
We use the Nikon 5000 scanner for our 126 slides, which provides the same quality scan as the Nikon 9000 scanner which we use for our 126 Negatives. The only difference is that the Nikon 9000 can scan different format film. Click here to see an example of scanned images View ExamplesCD vs DVD
Having your 126 Slides & Negatives scanned to a disc? You will need to decide if you want a CD or a DVD. A data CD is just like a data DVD, the quality is the exact same. The only difference is that a data DVD holds more data than a CD. So if your order form indicated that you need more than 1 CD, it would be less expensive for you if you chose to have your digital images saved to a data DVD instead. If you want your 126 Slides & Negatives scanned and saved onto a VIDEO DVD, you will want to order a DVD Video Slideshow.

126 Instamatic Film Facts
126 is the number given to a cartridge-based film format used in still photography. It was introduced by Kodak in 1963, and is associated mainly with low-end point-and-shoot cameras, particularly Kodak's own Instamatic series of cameras.
The term "126" was intended to show that instamatic film were 26mm square, using Kodak's common 1xx film numbering system. However the instamatic film image size is actually 28x 28 mm, but usually reduced to approximately 26.5 x 26.5 mm by masking during printing or mounting.
The format was introduced by Kodak under the brand name Kodapak, together with the Instamatic camera. Although the Instamatic name is sometimes treated as synonymous with the 126 format, Kodak also used it on its later 110-format cameras, which they called Pocket Instamatic and on its "M" series 8mm movie cameras.
